Can I sort the reviews showing on online stores?

Yes, you can sort the reviews displayed on the online stores.

By default, reviews are sorted by date (newest to oldest). Below are definitions of each types:

By Date: Shows the newest reviews first.
By Media: Prioritizes reviews with images or videos. If multiple reviews have the same number of media files, they are sorted by date (newest first).
By Rating: Displays reviews from highest to lowest rating. If ratings are the same, they are sorted by date (newest first).
By Content: Arranges reviews by text length, from longest to shortest. If multiple reviews have the same length, they are sorted by date (newest first).

To enable these sorting options, navigate to the Show Reviews advanced settings on your store’s dashboard.

How to configure review sorting in-app?

You can set up review sorting in-app before showing it on your storefront.

Steps

From the Kudosi dashboard, click Show Reviews on the left side bar.
From the Show Reviews page, click Customize in the Review Box section.


From the Review Box > Component visibility > Open the Search & filter section



You can enable or disable the Show reviews sorting feature to show or hide sorting options on your online store
After finishing your configuration, click Save to apply the settings to your storefront.

After configuring these settings in-app, they will be applied to your storefront.

+ This review sorting setting is available starting from the Starter plan under the old pricing model, and from the Free plan under the new pricing model
+ Applying this configuration may take a few minutes. Please be patient and wait for the changes to be applied to your storefront.
