Managing reviews
Manage review is a feature that allows you to modify reviews before they appear on your online store. Effective review management helps turn viewers into buyers by leveraging positive feedback to enhance your brand's credibility and appeal.
This article will guide you through the various functions available for managing reviews effectively, ensuring that only the most relevant and valuable feedback is showcased to your customers.

Manage media
Manage Questions and Answers
This setting enables the automatic publishing of new reviews received from your online store and via review request emails.
Steps
From the Kudosi dashboard, click Manage Reviews on the left side bar.
On the manage reviews page, click Auto-publish.
Check the box to activate auto-publishing for new reviews. Click Save to apply the changes.
From the Kudosi dashboard, click Manage Reviews. From this tab, you can:
See all reviews of your store by clicking View by reviews.
See reviews of individual products by clicking View by products.
From View by reviews section, you can see some review status terms:
Published: Reviews that are visible on your storefront.
Unpublished: Reviews that are invisible on the storefront. Reviews imported with the auto-publish option turned off in the customize import settings will appear as unpublished.
Pending: Reviews that await your approval before becoming visible. This status applies if you disable the auto-publish in the manage reviews settings. Reviews collected from your store or via request emails will be placed in pending.
Manage Reviews is a tool that allows you to control the visibility and order of reviews before they appear on your storefront. Here are the functions available:
Use this function to quickly find and modify the reviews you want in the manage reviews section.
From the manage reviews page, click the icon sorting on the right page, then sort reviews by:
Created date:
From oldest to newest reviews
From newest to oldest reviews
Rating
From highest to lowest
From lowest to highest

Use this function to search reviews or apply filters based on time period, product name, sources, and review type. This filter function helps merchants search reviews quickly in the manage reviews section.
Click the search icon to filter reviews by:
All time: Set the time range for the reviews. Options include all-time, last 30 days, last 90 days, or a custom time frame of your choice.
All products: Search by product name. Simply select from a list of your existing products or type the name to find specific products.
All sources: Search reviews from AliExpress, Amazon, storefront, email, SMS, QR code, social request, and other apps/CSV files.
All ratings: Filter by review ratings. Select reviews from 5 stars, 4 stars, 3 stars, 2 stars and 1 star.
All reviews: Narrow your search to reviews that include media or those that contain text only.
Quick search: You can enter relevant related keywords into the search bar to find specific reviews quickly
Use this function to arrange reviews that you want to show on top. This will be applied and shown on the storefront.
Pin reviews: Clicking Pin review icon button will place the review at the top of the list. If multiple reviews are pinned, the most recently pinned reviews will appear first.
Unpin reviews: Reviews that are not pinned will be displayed according to the sorting options.

Use this function to interact with customers and boost the trustworthiness of your store.
Steps to reply to customer reviews
From the manage reviews page > click three dots icon beside the review you want to respond to > select Reply to reviews.
There are 2 options, you can select one or both:
Publish reply: This action posts your reply directly below the customer’s review on the storefront. Once published, you have the option to edit or delete your reply at any time.
Notify via email: If you have customers’ email, you can select this action to send the reply to customers via email. Additionally, you can resend the email notification each time you edit and update the reply.
After typing text to reply to customer’s reviews, click the button Reply.

Note: If you turn off auto-publish in the manage reviews settings, new customer reviews on your store will be placed in the pending state. In this case, you need to click "Publish" in the pending tab to approve before replying to it.
Use this function to strengthen social proof.
Steps
From the manage reviews page > click the three dots icon beside the review you want to respond to > select Share on social media.
Select a social media channel to share reviews on Facebook, Twitter, or Pinterest.
Customize the appearance:
Text size: Small, medium, large
Theme style: Hover over your selected theme to see editing options or to download it.
Editing themes include:
+ Primary text color: Select the color code for the text.
+ Reviewer profile photo: Select a review photo from our provided source or upload your photo.
+ Background: Select our default or upload your image.
Click Save and Share it on social media.
Note: For Instagram, please download the image and post it manually.

To delete or publish all reviews at one time
Check the box Reviews details.
Then click the button Publish x reviews or Delete x reviews
Note: Check the box of the selected reviews to delete or publish one or more separate reviews.
This function provides an easy way to locate and oversee media content, allowing you to effortlessly delete unwanted photos and videos from your reviews.
Steps
From the manage reviews page, select Manage Reviews in the left side menu.
From the All media section, click Manage media.
Hover over and zoom out on your selected media to check the product review details.
Press the button Delete in the review details. Then select one option from a confirmation modal to delete:
Only the selected photo/video
All reviews related to the selected media item
Besides, you can select multiple media items to delete at one time by checking the boxes.

The Questions & Answers is section to boost interaction and customer loyalty. This feature allows customers to ask direct questions about products, ensuring they receive the most accurate and up-to-date information.
Steps
On the manage reviews page, navigate to the Questions & Answers tab.
Toggle this function on
When customers submit a question on the online store, you can manage the questions:
Reply questions: Answer them privately via email.
Publish: Publish the questions and answer them on the storefront.

Auto-publish reviews

Understand review status terms
From the Kudosi dashboard, click Manage Reviews. From this tab, you can:
See all reviews of your store by clicking View by reviews.
See reviews of individual products by clicking View by products.
From View by reviews section, you can see some review status terms:

4. Reply to reviews

Steps to reply to customer reviews
From the manage reviews page > click three dots icon beside the review you want to respond to > select Reply to reviews.
There are 2 options, you can select one or both:
Publish reply: This action posts your reply directly below the customer’s review on the storefront. Once published, you have the option to edit or delete your reply at any time.
Notify via email: If you have customers’ email, you can select this action to send the reply to customers via email. Additionally, you can resend the email notification each time you edit and update the reply.
After typing text to reply to customer’s reviews, click the button Reply.

Note: If you turn off auto-publish in the manage reviews settings, new customer reviews on your store will be placed in the pending state. In this case, you need to click "Publish" in the pending tab to approve before replying to it.
5. Share on social media
Use this function to strengthen social proof.
Steps
From the manage reviews page > click the three dots icon beside the review you want to respond to > select Share on social media.
Select a social media channel to share reviews on Facebook, Twitter, or Pinterest.
